It is newly furnished with natural materials, including lovely oak flooring and doors. The cottage is light and airy with stunning views from every aspect.

Downstairs the cottage has private access to a fully equipped ( dishwasher, fridge, washing machine) open plan, kitchen, breakfast bar and double settee lounge area. There is also a private patio area to make the most of alfresco meals and stunning views. Upstairs leads to two bedrooms, Pentopyn, a king size double room and Llansor, twin room. Both of these bedrooms share a separate shower room for the exclusive use of guests.

Glebe Farm cottage is an ideal base to explore magical Monmouthshire. There are many lovely walks nearby with a walk from the cottage up to Llandegveth reservoir taking around 45 mins. Guests staying on a B&B basis have breakfast served downstairs with locally sourced ingredients, eggs from the farm’s own chickens. A warm welcome awaits you at April house: a peaceful, light and elegant house with stunning views over the Usk valley. The house nestles in tranquil countryside where the only noise to disturb you is sheep calling to each other, or the whickering of horses waiting for their breakfast. The house is furnished with natural materials: slate and oak floors and our home produced sheepskin rugs.

April House is perfectly placed as a base from which to explore magical Monmouthshire. The owners Martin and Charlotte will be delighted to help you plan your trip, whether cycling, fishing, walking or visiting the world heritage sites in Blaenavon, or castles of Monmouthshire. April House has two spotless and spacious  double rooms  with fabulous views and vaulted ceilings. Only one party stays at a time as this means you will have exclusive use of the luxury bathroom.

Breakfast is served in a sunny dining area – or in the unique pod – with views over the garden that we open as part of the National Gardens Scheme. Only locally sourced ingredients, homemadebread and jam are served and if the chickens are in the mood, you will also have their own eggs!

After an active day you are invited to join the warmth of a wood-burning stove and sumptuous reclining leather settees perhaps with a gin and tonic? Our house on the Hill opened to guests in 2009. It is nestled in the heart of the Vale of Usk and offers newly furnished , 4 star, accommodation in a very tranquil and private rural setting. After a good nights sleep in comfortable rooms, a hearty breakfast of bacon, sausages, with eggs from owners chickens, along with home baked bread, is served in an open lounge dining area. This is linked to a conservatory which offers lovely views of the well cared for gardens, many birds that visit and rolling countryside, thereby setting the scene for a peaceful stay at this hidden gem.
