This is the borderland where King Arthur ruled, the Romans bathed, the Normans settled, pilgrims worshipped and Turner sketched. Today, it’s a place where grapes ripen, salmon leap, markets bustle and culture thrives. Walkers, mountain bikers and canoeists love the place. And a large chunk of it is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
We have secure storage for up to 6 bikes and we are only minutes from the Celtic Trail and Lon Las Cymru that links Chepstow to Pembrokeshire and the North. Please note that because we are on top of a hill you need to keep a little extra in the tank to get you up the last part. Alternatively you can contact us in advance and we can come and collect you! MTB routes can be found at www.mbwales.com and the famous Cwmcarn centre is just 30mins away.
Saddle up in the Black Mountains and ride through some of Wales most stunning scenery. The Grange pony trekking is a long established, friendly centre where you can really get to know your pony by helping to groom and tack up before heading out. If lessons are more up your street then try Severnvale Equestrian which offers high quality tuition.
Kayaking & Canoeing
The Black Mountains, Brecon Beacons, Offas Dyke, Wye Valley and Wentwood are all close by. There are also facilities for drying clothes and boots should you need them.
